VAERS data on COVID vaccine deaths not as a bad as some claimed: study
Initially when an unusually - and, frankly, alarming - number of deaths potentially caused by COVID vaccines was reported to VAERS some skeptics claimed that that alone may not mean all that much as VAERS reports were just raw reports and the causal chain of each death had yet to be sorted out. Now a study has come out of a sample of an early batch of such reports that came in prior to April 2021. Of that sample, the vaccine response could be ruled out as the cause of death in only 14% of the cases.
While this study alone may be of limited impact is conclusions are likely overall accurate given how well it matches other related data points, both from the US and elsewhere.
Hence the notion of COVID vaccines being "safe and effective" is really neither.
