On 10 October 2022 one Janine Small, President of International Developed Markets at Pfizer, while questioned by Rob Roos, a Dutch parliamentarian, had stated that prior to the rollout of the Pfizer's mRNA COVID-19 vaccine said vaccine had not been assessed in terms of how effective it would be at stopping the transmission of COVID.
